We use the Virginia Edition of the Glencoe Mathematics book titled Algebra 1 as our text.
Chapter 9 introduces the concept of factoring. My lessons are Microsoft Powerpoint slides designed to be used in class with the student notes. They are a mixture of my own slides and information taken from slides supplied with the textbook. I have noted the file size beside them for those who still must use dial-up connections. Any suggestions or comments are always welcome.
I also provide links to Glencoe Mathematics' online self-tests, quizzes and study materials. The key to being successful in math is practice-practice-practice, and I encourage all students to take advantage of the tremendous wealth of online materials offered by Glencoe Mathematics.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please email me.
